We did a random pick a place restaurant and this came up. The food is delicious and they're very friendly. Highly recommend the skirt steak, it's tender and the citrus marinade is fantastic. The red beans and pork is rich and if you don't have room for dessert, get the guava empanada to go. My only complaint is that the tables are a little wobbly when trying to cut the meat. I got a Cubana sandwich to go and it was delicious cold the next day. We will definitely be going back.

Best food I've ever had, I would recommend the Carne Asada as well as the desserts. The atmosphere was very good and the employees offered excellent service. Everything item was explained to insure we got what we wanted. Honestly if I could eat here everyday, I would.

Cuban sandwich is awesome. Pork shoulder with some nice seared parts. Crispy bread that’s not too hard. The ham is not deli meat, it’s like slices of Thanksgiving ham. Comes with sweet or savory fried plantains, both are good. I can’t wait to try the fried pork cubes.

Incredibly friendly customer service and great food. This was our first time eating Cuban food, and it didn’t disappoint. We ordered the Cuban Sandwich and the Pollo Empanisado at the suggestion of the lady at the counter. I’d say the Pollo Empanisado was the favorite between the two. Fantastic beans, delicious chicken, and some sauce that was out of this world. 5/5 meal, would eat that again. The Cuban Sandwich was good, but not mind-blowing. Half of it was a bit lacking of cheese and sauce, and the pulled pork felt a bit dried out as well. But the flavor was great, and the half with sufficient condiments made up for the half that was lacking. Overall, I’d give it a 4/5 on the sandwich. The lady behind the counter was great to us. Treated us so nicely and made sure we had everything we needed.

Great food! First time trying it, we came for my birthday, service was awesome! Both girls that were working as waitresses were friendly and helpful! Food was as good! Fresh and tastes exactly as homemade Cuban! Well seasoned, I had the breaded chicken with white rice and black beans! It was delicious! The yucca with the garlic sauce was delicious too! After we got done eating we got a generous piece of 3 leches cake with strawberry sauce to share with each other and it was SO yummy. The price is great for the flavorless and amount of food! We will be back for sure!

THE BEST food you can find in SLC. Super good flavors. I’m Colombian but this made me feel like home. Very nice family run business. Great service and great overall. The Carne encebollada is perfect and the 3 leches... no words.

So so good and so affordable. The service was amazing too. Got the Cuban sandwich and it’s massive. But it also had so much good flavor and was very delicious over all. Also got a piece of the coconut tres leches...crazy crazy good. Will absolutely be back!
